Photographing latent prints can sometimes be a challenge, but
it’s now easier with the Peca 783 camera filter. Available from Peca
Products Inc., the Peca 783 filter helps remove unwanted background
colors in fingerprint photos when using a laser light source such as the
Coherent Tracer from Arrowhead Forensics.
Recognized as the optimum light source for latent prints, portable laser
light sources are gaining in popularity for viewing and photographing
latent prints. However, when photographed background colors often appear
that make it hard to see the details needed.
The Peca 783 filter is specially engineered to block unwanted background
color that often hides the details needed for a good latent print photo.
